Friendly staff and good food

People say this is one of the best Mexican restaurants in this area, but the food seems geared towards Midwestern tastes as opposed to being authentic Mexican food. Unless the recipes were altered to be more authentic, this restaurant would not make it in the Southwest or West Coast. however, for the area, it was good. Many of their dishes feature a white queso sauce that is okay, but kind of bland by Southwestern standards. If it is a level above Taco Bell or Taco John's, the local chains, which is not saying much, but will do when you want Mexican food in this area. The staff was friendly and helpful.

I went through the drive through yesterday. Service was so slow. Waited forever. The guy at the window wasn't friendly. Downright grouchy. I wont go back again

Great Food and great service

This place was the the best Tex Mex food I ever had, the service was great, they were closing , but searved and waited for us to eat , laugh, drink and leave , with no pressure.

The food was great! The menu is what'd you expect with the exception of alcohol. That's not the businesses' fault but the fault of the neighboring small town business mindset. It's unfortunate but I can't hold it against them. But those tasty nachos had me drooling for a margarita.

Food was good, not overly spicy. They have both original Mexicanand TexMex cuisine. Salsa was very fresh and price was very reasonable.

There wasnt any flavor. The taco salad wasnt what I consider to be a taco salad with lettuce. They didnt put onions and peppers in the fajitas so there wasnt much flavor. But different people like different food and that's my opinion. They have been there for quite a while and have a good following of people.

Employees are very friendly and helpful. Food is delicious. Everthing I have tried is good. The more you come in they remember your drinks and treat you like family.

The food was ok but the service was terrible. One guy took our order, then disappeared. He showed up later eating his lunch at a nearby booth. The only other server was apparently too busy with her one table and entertaining her kid to check on us. We asked for extra salsa but it never came. We never got drink refills. We had to go find her to get a to-go box. Skip this place and drive to Cape Girardeau.

Tasty food and great service. Plus they had Tom & Jerry playing on the TV, which I appreciated.

Wish I lived near it... My family stopped on or way up to St. Louis... craved it the whole time we were on vacation... So good, and the service was incredible. Highly recommend above all.

Love this place! My family and I eat here often. My family enjoys the milder burritos and fajitas. I like to kick it up a notch with the mango shrimp tacos. They start out sweet and finish fiery. The portions are very generous, but not very expensive.
